OUTLETS

OUTLETS, DIMMERS, AND BREAKERS

Outlets

Overloading your circuit is not only frustrating but also extremely dangerous. People are unaware of how much stress they are placing on the outlet because they are plug-in devices and electronics. If an outlet is overloaded, a component can only heat up and ignite - 40,000 a year in the India alone. Our electricians can install, repair, diagnose any issues with overload, and bring the best solution to your door.

Dimmers

The dimmer switch works by reducing the amount of current flowing through your light bulbs and they have considered energy savings - while the total energy saved depends on how much you dim the lights, how long they last The dim, and what type of bulbs you choose, are a great way to control the vibe of a room whether you want to watch a movie in the family room or host dinner in the dining room, Dimmer switches can enhance the atmosphere and set the mood. They will make light bulbs last longer - soften the light, the bulb lasts longer. You can add to the life of a bulb between three and four years with proper dimming.

Breakers

Breakers are safety devices designed to protect your home's wiring and electrical equipment (appliances, electronics, etc…) that are plugged into the circuit. Circuit breakers that are not maintained properly will not be able to protect your home from power surges and may also pose a serious risk of arcing or faulting.

This can result in heat and spark which can cause fatal electric shock or electric fire!

You should call our licensed electrician at Buldel when:

  • Your circuit breaker trips constantly, even after being reset
  • The circuit breaker is hot to the touch
  • You can see visible damage, such as burned metal or frayed wires
  • You can hear buzzing, hissing, or popping noises from the breakers
  • You can smell burning from the breaker panel

Never ignore the tripping breaker. If it is tripping, then there is a reason. If a breaker travels again, immediately after resetting, this is a good indication that the circuit is deficient and should be evaluated as soon as possible.
