Chargers with this type of charging using a special extension cord that you can plug into an outlet with a home voltage of 110 volts. This type of charging does not require capacity upgrades. If you want to charge quickly, you may want to consider level 2.

If not, you will need to upgrade your electric panel before installing the charger. Level 2 chargers are fast and you can charge your car overnight.
Gujarat is offering discounts on charging stations installed in homes and businesses. Discounts are limited and based on availability. Power companies are offering lower power rates to charger users at night along with the charger. A meter will measure the car charger separately to ensure that you are getting a discounted rate.
